Car company claims that this car runs on salt water, or more specifically two different electrolyte solutions. Further info is sketchy.

Okay, admit you want it.

Police States create two classes of “citizen.” Those who are in authority are treated very differently to those who are not in authority. If this was not the case then at least half the congress would be in prison for war crimes, etc.

It has filtered down to the local police level now…

Happy Labor Day (not)

Kick off Labor Day weekend with some depressing charts

This is what happens when a large chunk of the working class takes their marching orders from billionaire fronts – Fox, right wing think tanks, etc.

Dear deluded right wing working class person–

The billionaires hate “big government” the kind that helps people in need, because they are not people in need. It is not in their interest to have revenue flow toward people who are not them.

You, on the other hand, will likely be in need, particularly as you age and find that food, shelter and medicine are unaffordable. Without Social Security, Medicare and other “big government” assistance, which is social insurance, you may find yourself on the street being eaten by wild dogs. That’s what “big government” has grown up to prevent from happening — THE WAY IT USED TO BE.

Government needs to be exactly as big as it needs to be to do the most good for the most people. The problem is that the priorities are largely focused on doing harm, erasing civil liberties, waging perpetual wars, and getting away with murder and pillage around the world.

Charts like the above don’t happen in a vacuum. They are the product of numerous changes, including globalization, the rigging of the tax code in favor of billionaires and hiding money off-shore. As more wealth is sucked out of the economy into private, off-shore accounts and foreign investments YOU, the American workers, grow poorer. Your environmental protections and worker safety laws are attacked in order to make you more like a third world worker who has no rights, breathes toxic smog without complaint, earns peanuts, and is disposable (THE WAY IT WAS RIGHT HERE PRIOR TO THE 1930S).

And that’s the way it is…

Call to Creative Action

CALL TO ACTION: The USDAC calls on all artists and creative activists to use our gifts for peace and justice, sharing images, performances, experiences, writings, and other works of art that raise awareness, build connection, cultivate empathy, and inspire action.

The murder of Michael Brown (and Eric Garner, Renisha McBride, Jonathan Ferrell, Jordan Davis, Sean Bell, Trayvon Martin, Oscar Grant, and so many others) and the suppression of basic rights in Ferguson, MO (and so many other places) compel us to ask these questions:

  • Who are we as a people?
  • What do we stand for?
  • How do we want to be remembered?

As a culture of punishment? Or a culture that values every human life, promoting true public safety grounded in justice and love?

As artists and creative activists, we understand that even as our present crises arise from economic and political conditions, these crises are rooted in culture.

  • Official violence is a cultural issue.
  • The denial of human rights is a cultural issue.
  • Racism is a cultural issue.

We join together in affirming to all public officials and policymakers that a culture of punishment cannot stand. We join together in applying our gifts to the public gatherings, organizing campaigns, and policy proposals that will support positive change. We stand together with generations of creative activists in communities across the nation who have been envisioning and working toward a world of equity and safety for all.

Glenn Greenwald:

Elizabeth Warren Finally Speaks on Israel/Gaza, Sounds Like Netanyahu

So the so-called “progressive” Democrats are full of shit. There is no hope, nor any representation, for people like myself in the Democrat Party. I knew that already, of course.

That is why I stopped voting for their devil’s bargain back in 2000 and I have been a vocal proponent of third parties, specifically the Greens and Justice Party, ever since. Everyone should de-register Democtat and become an Independent or a Green or whatever. It won’t cost you one penny. It will, however, shake up the business as usual in Washington DC. If there was a mass exodus and they could no longer take YOU for granted, they would have to change. The choice and the moral failing is in your court.

The pathetic pitch of Democrats, how people like Elizabeth Warren are the only hope that we’re supposed to hang all our hopes on, falls away like so much other political propaganda.

I do not endorse Israel’s genocide against the people of Palestine nor do I want ANY much-needed US tax money sent to that terrorist state so that it can steal the rest of the land. Neither of the two corporatist parties reflect that view, and they don’t represent me.

This just in…

Hello Political Film Blog,

Hope this finds you well. I am excited to announce the release of The Seattle Globalist’s thrilling socio-political documentary, BARZAN on September 2nd on iTunes, Amazon and across Cable VOD.

This is a film that is perfect for your audience.

“…a Kafka-esque view of the bureaucracy of the Department of Homeland Security, the terrifying spectre of kangaroo courts outside the US Judiciary, and the human wreckage left in its wake.”Programming, True/False Film Festival

As the situation in the Middle East continues to deteriorate and we near the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, BARZAN brings to light controversial acts by the government in the aftermath of the World Trade Center tragedies. Shot in Iraq and Seattle, BARZAN discusses issues that are as divisive as ever, including terrorism, national security, and immigration. Powerful, thrilling, raw, real and engaging are just a few words used to describe this must see documentary.

Please check out the trailer:

More than just a great documentary, BARZAN is a story that needs to be told. If you would like to feature BARZAN, I can offer loads of excellent material including visuals, interviews with the directors, outtake and behind-the-scenes videos and a screener for review.

Please let me know if you would like more information.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,

Romeo Fabian

US Surveillance Flights A Step Toward Expanding War Into Syria

I remember discussing this absurdity with my wife a couple of years ago. They were helping the Syrian Jihadis, who had massacred thousands already. They are the US, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey and the rest of the NATO clowns. Probably Israel as well, but that might be trickier.

So they helped radical Jihadi terrorists inside Syria for three years.

The obvious endgame would be–to get what they really want–use the Jihadis they had helped as the cassus belli. Now they had to go fight the terrorism they created!

syrian2I doubted that could fly. It doesn’t pass the laugh test. It doesn’t align with the paradigms and myths even. It’s so flagrantly obvious, so ridiculous on its face, but here we are today. ISIS terrorists are sweeping across Asia, and now “we” can go bomb them, and ANYONE ELSE NEARBY “WE” DON’T LIKE.

As in the 1980 Afghan/Soviet Jihad, the US creates the monster, with a lot of money and a lot of help from its “friends.” Then it turns around, and screams: there are terrorists in the world!

Oh really? You mean the ones you were arming, training, funding and transporting around the region?  Oh yeah, them.

This sad formula assumes our population are drooling imbeciles.

Are they wrong?

ISIS was helped by US “partners,” and the US has aided their cause in Syria for years in the UN and with covert supplies, including weapons, and a training program in Jordan. The treasonous US puppet masters assume their Jihadi lieges are easily vanquished should the US decide to wage war on them. The Jihadis assume the US is so corrupt and stupid that it is helping the people who want to kill them.

USAID-JIHAD-XPRESS PROGRAM-halfsize

This goes beyond “policy” a banal word that masks reality. It is material support for terrorism. It is potentially treason. It is official US policy to help radical Jihadist “terrorists” in a bunch of nations today. Isn’t that supposed to be a problem?
