CNN:

WASHINGTON (CNN) — President Bush and his top aides publicly made 935 false statements about the security risk posed by Iraq in the two years following September 11, 2001, according to a study released Tuesday by two nonprofit journalism groups.

But dumb Americans think they told the truth about the September 11th attacks? Which are covered up to this day?

The public is quite pathetic in the face of actual evidence…

Sort of interesting in a tragi-comedy way…

US BACKED NEW SYRIAN ARMY SUFFERS CRIPPLING DEFEAT

“Prior to the offensive, the NSyA received new weapons and vehicles, including modern XM2010 sniper rifles from the US. As well, Coalition jets conducted an intensive leaflet-dropping propaganda campaign against the target region, while the NSyA publically stated its intention to attack.”

So, let’s recap how illegal this US imperial game actually is:

UN Charter, Article 2:

All Members shall settle their international disputes by peaceful means in such a manner that international peace and security, and justice, are not endangered.

Arming terrorist armies inside another country is a war crime. Barack Obama and George Bush are war criminals. This is the real problem in the world today: unaccountable emperors who dump weapons and money onto their pet terrorists without threat of being arrested and punished. Their “allies” do most of the dirty work, and that leads to entities like ISIS. This is the greatest source of conflict in the world today. And it has purpose, strategy, although most people simply don’t understand what’s happening and are unqualified to form opinions about it–including a number of so-called “intellectuals” in academia.

Wake up.

The right to freedom of speech only protects people against adverse actions by the government:  It does not insulate them from retaliation in the private economic sector.  Therefore, freedom of speech is usually the purview of the rich, whose resources allow them to survive such retaliation.

The right to freedom of the press doesn’t necessarily give writers access to the press, and, even when it does, these writers incessantly have to run through a gauntlet of “editors,” who ultimately decide if certain works are “worthy” of publication, and, if so, in what form.

2012californiamarijuana.jpg

L.E.A.P. writes:

We have some very exciting news: California’s Adult Use of Marijuana Act is officially on the ballot this November!

Now, as the campaign kicks into high gear, the real work begins. Legalizing and regulating adult use of marijuana in one of the nation’s most influential states will be a huge victory for drug policy reform, but to make sure it happens, we need to reach California voters and tell them why it’s so imperative to legalize and regulate marijuana.

Legalization and regulation of marijuana will create revenue estimated at more than $1 billion in California, in addition to the hundreds of millions of dollars the state will save in criminal justice costs currently being wasted on arresting, prosecuting, and imprisoning people for nonviolent marijuana offenses.

Californians need to hear from pro-reform law enforcers, one of the most influential groups in past successful legalization initiatives, on why legalization, regulation, and control is a more practical and ethical approach to marijuana policy. LEAP is ready to help bring legalization to California: our speakers are out in force, making presentations, talking to the media, writing opinion-editorial pieces, doing everything they can to support legalization efforts and connect with California voters. But we need your help to ensure a shift toward more responsible marijuana policy.

Please donate now to support LEAP’s work in California and other states on the verge of marijuana reform.

She claims to be “royal,” and I believe her. She has that bubbling arrogance of royalty.

Kick her insane ass back to Saudi Arabia, permanently.

She rants and raves about blowing us up. Please stop these people. Is that too much to ask? Really?

Bernie’s “Political Revolution” = Vote for Clinton and the Neocons

“Hillary is the neocon’s neocon,” said MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough. “She will be more of a saber-rattler, more of a neocon, than probably the Republican nominee. I mean, there’s hardly been a military engagement that Hillary hasn’t been for in the past twenty years.”

That’s right, Hillary Clinton is the choice of many of the same neocons who were at one time Public Enemy #1 of Democrats during the George W. Bush presidency. Is it possible to be any more hypocritical than that?

Here are some of the people endorsing Clinton:

Max Boot – A hard-line war hawk and self-declared “American imperialist”

Eliot Cohen – Founding Signatory for the Project for the New American Century

 * Robert Kagan – A former Bush administration official who has been called “the most influential neocon in academe”

Richard Armitage – Former Deputy Secretary of State who admitted that he was the source who first revealed the identity of CIA officer Valerie Plame

Madeline Albright – Who said it was “worth it” in describing the 500,000 Iraqi children who died because of U.S. sanctions

Brent Scowcroft – National Security adviser to Bush #1

Henry Paulson – Former Treasury Secretary and key bailout architect

Leon Panetta – Former Director of the CIA

Dan Senor, a leading neoconservative operative and former foreign policy advisor to Mitt Romney, who declared, “Hillary is more hawkish than any of us!”

CIA

Just today, in Newsweek, a pretty good summation:

When the Shawal Valley strike occurred, D’Andrea was already was a controversial figure in intelligence circles. He was one of the agency’s officials who failed to keep track of Nawaf Al-Hamzi, one of the 9/11 hijackers, after he entered the United States. As The New Yorker’s Jane Mayer wrote in her book The Dark Side, the CIA knew Al-Hamzi was in the United States. An FBI officer named Doug Miller who wasattached to the agency’s Osama bin Laden–tracking unit typed up a memo about Hamzi, hoping to share the tip with the FBI so they could locate the suspected terrorist. “But his boss, a CIA desk officer in the Bin Laden unit of the Counterterrorist Center who is identified by the 9/11 commission only as ‘Mike’ told Miller to hold off on sending the memo,” Mayer wrote. “After the second try, Miller dropped the matter.” Three hours after “Mike” gave that order, he inexplicably told his CIA superiors that the tip had, in fact, been passed to the FBI. “The CIA assumed from then on that it was,” adds Mayer. “But it wasn’t.”

Federal Court: The Fourth Amendment Does Not Protect Your Home Computer

But the decision underscores a broader trend in these cases: courts across the country, faced with unfamiliar technology and unsympathetic defendants, are issuing decisions that threaten everyone’s rights.

People like this judge should be removed and sent into retirement immediately. They are not competent to decide such matters.

Francis: Christians must apologize to gay people for marginalizing them

“I believe that the church not only must say it’s sorry … to this person that is gay that it has offended,” said the pope. “But it must say it’s sorry to the poor, also, to mistreated women, to children forced to work.”

“When I say the church: Christians,” Francis clarified. “The church is holy. We are the sinners.”
