Intense. Sex, drugs, rock & roll personified: Scorcese, Jagger, HBO, Olivia Wilde and Juno Temple–I could watch this forever.

This 70s freeze frame of the rock industry seethes with authenticity and sleaze. Naturally I binge-watched the entire season after stumbling upon the trailer.

It’s the story of rock and roll after the sixties have ended, and the industry has to figure out what the hell is next. It’s gritty, drug fueled and very New York. So much so, there are some expected cliches.

I only hope they keep the show going–but it may be canceled.
