I am now of the opinion that Trump’s open turn to fascism is a game-changer. We are at the brink of civil war. Instigating Nazis and normalizing racist, fascist, murderers has destabilized the entire country. This must stop.
Trump must go, and I may even vote Biden out of sheer desperation. The consequences of Trump winning are too disastrous to bear. He has already helped kill off America’s elderly in nursing homes, tried to end Social Security thus killing and making homeless the elderly and disabled population of America, spread the pandemic far and wide, seized protective masks denying them to responders, sent mercenary Gestapo forces to extra-judicially kidnap US citizens in our cities, attacked the Post Office to openly steal the election, and he now wages a Nazi-styled scapegoat campaign against “Antifa.” We have a Nazi terrorist problem, not an anti-fascist problem. This megalomaniacal thug must be removed asap.
Biden may just go away due to illness and dementia, and that leaves Harris. She has not shown herself to be at quite the big-league level of evil as the others. Yet. This seems the best-case scenario in a sea of shit.
I honestly could not remember anything about the book’s plot, and I wasn’t sure how closely the TV series came to it. The book was unmemorable, except for the background about conditioning different castes using scientific engineering. I had to read it over at Wikipedia to determine that they did diverge quite a bit. I’m sure I like the show better.
The good news is orgies and ultra-violence. It’s a Brit production, so adults were in the room. The drama is solid, a love triangle, revolution, systemic oppression, future technology. All in all, my kind of show.
Now, nothing is perfect, and I’m exceptionally jaded, but this one is worth a watch. We need revolution in the air these days, and conveying it through a completely alien society is even better than contemporary disenchantment. There’s a safe distance, while viewers decide which side they’re on.

In fact, the foundation’s website and most recent tax forms clearly show investments in such companies, including Gilead and CureVax.

The Gates Foundation can point to important charitable accomplishments over the past two decades—like helping drive down polio and putting new funds into fighting malaria—but even these efforts have drawn expert detractors who say that Gates may actually be introducing harm, or distracting us from more important, lifesaving public health projects.
