Pepe Escobar takes on the global chaos…

Planet of Fear

Isis-oil-Russian-strikes

It occurs to me that this blog has posted more actual, real news about the most important stories affecting global security, than almost any MSM media outfit based in the United States. It’s a world of censorship and propaganda, people.

Putin and Hollande go after Erdogan’s racket

How come the US-led ‘Coalition of Dodgy Opportunists’ (CDO), in over a year, never – and the operative word is never – bombed any of the wheels in the Syrian stolen oil machine?

And how come no one among the CDO – Americans especially – did anything to prevent ‘Mini Me’ and others from actually funding the Daesh racket for so long?

Russia ain’t taking no prisoners

Putin: The bombshell: Daesh’s cash, “as we have established, comes from 40 countries and, there are some of the G20 members among them.” It doesn’t take a Caltech genius to figure out which members. They’d better take the “you can run but you can’t hide” message seriously.

Additionally, Putin debunked – graphically – to the whole G20 the myth of a Washington seriously engaged on the fight against Daesh: “I’ve shown our colleagues photos taken from space and from aircraft which clearly demonstrate the scale of the illegal trade in oil.” He was referring to Daesh’s oil smuggling tanker truck fleet, which numbers over 1,000.

Apparently acting on Russian satellite intelligence, the Pentagon then miraculously managed to find tanker truck convoys stretching “beyond the horizon,” smuggling out stolen Syrian oil. And duly bombed 116 trucks. For the first time. And this in over a year that the ‘Coalition of the Dodgy Opportunists’ (CDO) is theoretically fighting Daesh. The only such bombing that happened before was by the Iraqi Air Force.

Low commodity prices, a drought at home and Venezuela's economic crisis have created a cash shortage for Cuba's Communist government, restricting its ability to trade just as it could be taking advantage of an economic opening with the United States. Pepe Escobar sums up the momentous changes sweeping across the Middle East right now. Crucial info.

It was Putin’s missile?

Pepe Escobar, Asia Times reporter, has been investigating anomalies related to the downed Malaysian airliner…

“A simple search reveals that MH17 was in fact diverted 200km north from the usual flight path taken by Malaysian Airlines in the previous days — and plunged right in the middle of a war zone. Why? What sort of communication had MH17 received from the Kiev air control tower?

Kiev has been mute about it. Yet the answer would be simple, had Kiev released the Air Traffic Control recording of the tower talking to flight MH17; Malaysia did it after flight MH370 disappeared forever.

It won’t happen; SBU security confiscated it. So much for getting an undoctored explanation as to why MH17 was off its path, and what the pilots saw and said before the explosion.

The Russian Defense Ministry, for its part, has confirmed that a Kiev-controlled Buk anti-aircraft missile battery was operational near the MH17’s crash. Kiev has deployed several batteries of Buk surface-to-air missile systems with at least 27 launchers; these are all perfectly capable of bringing down jets flying at 33,000 ft.”

Then there’s an alleged air traffic controller / witness named “Carlos,” that you’ll want to investigate.

s_500_cdn_rt_com_0_putin-2.siPrince Bandar “Bush” Threatens Russian President Putin

Pepe Escobar continues to monitor the war crimes and international terrorism taking place in Syria today.

It’s Putin vs Bandar Bush on the Syrian chessboard

“Although Washington (laughably) swears it doesn’t know what was stolen from its “non-lethal aid”  package, the content of the warehouses couldn’t be juicier; a weaponizing orgy — M79 Osa rocket launchers, rocket-propelled grenades, 14.5mm heavy machine guns, and even Stinger missiles — generously supplied by Saudis, Qataris, and Emiratis, obviously after a green light from Washington.

And by the way — US lethal, semi-lethal, or non-lethal “aid” continues and will continue to flow via Jordan, while Turkey “discreetly” does nothing to prevent ISIL deployments in both Syria and Iraq.

…No matter who will remain in control of those weapons — Bandar Bush’s brigades, the al-Qaeda-style International Jihad, or both — what’s certain is that these lethal facts on the ground will make a mockery of anything transpiring out of Geneva-2 next month.”
