FBI Told Former Agent Not to Help 9/11 Victims Build Case Against Saudi Arabia

Author of 9/11’s famed “Phoenix Memo” was told White House’s pursuit of warm relations with kingdom comes first

Former Senate intelligence chair Bob Graham calls FBI’s action “a fundamental assault on the principle of democracy”

PS.

People like that agent are obtuse and willfully blind that it’s not just the Saudis, it’s the USA that is the Godfather to them. Pointing at the Saudis is nonsensical given the Treasonous protection of same by US high officials. The problem is much closer to home.

28 Pages of Treason

The #Treason part is what US corporate media will never, ever say. You have to do that bit of thinking on your own, and frankly the US public is far too stupid to put 1 and 1 together…

ISIS weapons arsenal included some purchased by U.S. government

According to CAR’s report, Iraqi police recovered a Bulgarian-made missile tube — part of a system for firing a wire-guided anti-tank missile — during the battle of Ramadi on Feb. 9, 2016.

CAR documented the item and traced its origin to a Bulgarian manufacturer. The company confirmed to researchers that the weapon had been exported to the U.S. Army through an arms broker on Dec. 12, 2015.

None dared call it Treason.

Leaked Hillary Clinton emails show U.S. allies Saudi Arabia and Qatar supported ISIS

HRC 2013 Speech:

“That’s been complicated by the fact that the Saudis and others are shipping large amounts of weapons — and pretty indiscriminately — not at all targeted toward the people that we think would be the more moderate, least likely, to cause problems in the future.”

“We need to use our diplomatic and more traditional intelligence assets to bring pressure on the governments of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, which are providing clandestine financial and logistic support to ISIL and other radical Sunni groups in the region,” the document states.

Say the word, Tulsi: “Treason.”

Two months before 9/11:

The highest law enforcement official in the nation told the FBI head he did not want to discuss domestic terrorism threats anymore.

Did Ashcroft brush off terror warnings?

“NBC exclusive: 9/11 commission interviews FBI officials who contradict Ashcroft testimony”

At issue is a July 5, 2001, meeting between Ashcroft and acting FBI Director Tom Pickard. That month, the threat of an al-Qaida attack was so high, the White House summoned the FBI and domestic agencies, and warned them to be on alert .

Yet, Pickard testified to the 9/11 commission that when he tried to brief Ashcroft just a week later, on July 12, about the terror threat inside the United States, he got the brush-off.

“Mr. Ashcroft told you that he did not want to hear about this anymore,” Democratic commission member Richard Ben-Veniste asked on April 13. “Is that correct?”

That is correct,” Pickard replied.

CIA

Just today, in Newsweek, a pretty good summation:

When the Shawal Valley strike occurred, D’Andrea was already was a controversial figure in intelligence circles. He was one of the agency’s officials who failed to keep track of Nawaf Al-Hamzi, one of the 9/11 hijackers, after he entered the United States. As The New Yorker’s Jane Mayer wrote in her book The Dark Side, the CIA knew Al-Hamzi was in the United States. An FBI officer named Doug Miller who wasattached to the agency’s Osama bin Laden–tracking unit typed up a memo about Hamzi, hoping to share the tip with the FBI so they could locate the suspected terrorist. “But his boss, a CIA desk officer in the Bin Laden unit of the Counterterrorist Center who is identified by the 9/11 commission only as ‘Mike’ told Miller to hold off on sending the memo,” Mayer wrote. “After the second try, Miller dropped the matter.” Three hours after “Mike” gave that order, he inexplicably told his CIA superiors that the tip had, in fact, been passed to the FBI. “The CIA assumed from then on that it was,” adds Mayer. “But it wasn’t.”

CIA ignored rise of ISIS since 2013, Syrian rebel ‘spy chief’ says

“From the moment Daesh (an Arabic pejorative acronym for IS) had 20 members to when it had 20,000, we have shown everything to the Americans. When we asked them what they did with this information, they always gave evasive answers, saying it was in the hands of decision-makers.”
