Al Jazeera investigates.

Who Killed Robert Kennedy?

It should, of course, be called Who ASSASSINATED Robert Kennedy?, minutes after he won the presidential nomination. Even the choice of words has a spin, a slant. This was a political murder, a terror event, and it led directly to Nixon being installed in the White House.

Al Jazeera, CNN & BBC Cover Up Genocidal Crimes of US – Backed Syrian Rebels

Despite their supposed commitment to “democracy” and self-determination in Syria, the media outlets that support the regime-change narrative promoted by foreign governments have conveniently omitted these facts from their coverage. For instance, Al Jazeera, funded by the Daesh (ISIS) and rebel-supporting Qatari government, refused to even mention the fact that the victims were Muslim Shiites, as well as omitting the fact that the attack occurred in al-Qaeda territory – even going so far as to imply that the attack was perpetrated by the Syrian government

The BBC, funded by the pro-Syrian opposition British government, also insinuated that Assad’s forces were to blame for the attack, even claiming that the attack “would not be in the rebels’ interest” despite the fact that extremist Syrian rebels have been calling for the massacre of all Muslim Shiites in Syria for years and that even the U.S. government has admitted that anti-Assad groups, particularly Daesh, are committing acts of genocide against those of different faiths.

In addition, most mainstream media coverage – from CNN to the Huffington Post – has concluded that there was “no evidence” that rebels were involved in the attack or that no one could be blamed as “no group had claimed responsibility.”

There are stories that have enormous consequences on the lives of Americans but are regularly under-reported or misrepresented by the mainstream media. Project Censored, the US media watchdog group, has released their annual report examining the shortcomings of reporting in 2012.

Not sci-fi.  Al Jazeera investigation of US drones and the future of the technology… everywhere.

The American public may be too ignorant and/or misinformed on matters of law, government, history, etc. to see a problem here. This arguably is a failing of democracy to rein in the state, the abrogation of responsibility by the brainwashed public. The state has claimed the power to murder people — without due process — anywhere in the world, a clear violation of many laws, including the US Constitution, Amendment 5:

“No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.”

These few words on an old, deteriorating piece of parchment are all that’s standing between you and a hellfire missile, the incineration of your family, friends and loved ones at the whim of those installed in power.

Due process involves public trials and evidence and rights of the accused. What we have today are called “kill lists”, created in secret meeting rooms without the constitutionally mandated due process and rights of the accused. This is an impeachable crime. US citizens have been murdered by this policy, and they will not be the last. Far from it, the drone wars are in their infancy and quite tame compared to what is coming down the line. Drone killing technology is widespread, available to universities, corporations and governments all over the world. America’s first-use precedent is no defense against the use of drones by near anybody. This one military technology can be considered a turning point for humanity, it is revolutionizing military affairs to that great a degree.

Unlike nuclear technology, drones are relatively unsophisticated and requiring of much less significant a manufacturing footprint. They are cheap, highly versatile and adaptable to all sorts of uses and payloads. Now that international law barring their use has been flagrantly violated with impunity, by the U.S., it logically flows that other powers will similarly ignore the prohibitions against murdering their perceived enemies wherever they believe them to be.

The natural outcome of all this unchecked, unlawful killing will be more terror, more chaos, more aggression. Not less. The science fiction writers warned us, and yet the people moo on, oblivious to their newfound position as easily-dispatched targets without rights or recourse. Drones entrench powerful interests and render their opponents powerless to stop them. This is the ultimate game-changer, and the powerful of the future will be those who control the fleets of killing machines.
