Covert Operative in Ukraine Controversy Revealed to Be Associated Press

ukraine-2

Propaganda is subtle sometimes, dependent on the associations and wording.  Today we find this curious opening sentence, linking three unrelated developments as if they are intimately connected and causing one another:

“The mayor of Ukraine’s second-largest city was shot in the back and pro-Russia insurgents seized more government buildings Monday as the U.S. hit Russia with more sanctions for allegedly fomenting the unrest in eastern Ukraine.”

The sentence obviously means to pair the shooting of the mayor with “pro-Russia insurgents.”  The editors glaringly and knowingly mean to associate a terrorist shooting with the West’s official enemies: the pro-Russian separatist protesters.

These editors know full well that most people don’t read entire articles and just skim the first paragraph or two.  This is not a controversial statement. Everyone knows that readers tend to skim the headlines and opening paragraph and to ignore the bulk of the articles.

“Hennady Kernes, the mayor of Kharkiv, was shot in the back Monday morning while cycling on the outskirts of the city… Officials have not commented on who could be behind the attack — and Kernes was a man who could have angered both sides.”

So the plot is thicker than the lead paragraph suggests.  And it’s even a reversal, a plot twist:

Kernes was a staunch opponent of the pro-West Maidan movement that toppled President Viktor Yanukovych in February and was widely viewed as the organizer of activists sent to Kyiv from eastern Ukraine to harass those demonstrators.”

If Kernes was an opponent of the neo-nazi Maidan fanatics (whom Obama/Kerry/Nuland just adore), then it is more likely that the nazi Maidan movement shot him in the back, not the pro-Russian separatists.  That, however, is not what casual readers would get from the headline and opening paragraph.  That makes this another in a long list of propaganda exercises that corporate media (in the US and Canada) seek to foist on the gullible public.

Saudi-BandarPrince Bandar bin Sultan Saud

“…MintPress editor Mnar Muhawesh in turn released a lengthy statement that defines their position in no uncertain terms: (emphasis added)

Thank you for reaching out to me in regards to statements made by Dale Gavlak alleging MintPress for incorrectly attributing our exclusive report titled: “Syrians in Goutha claim Saudi-supplied rebels behind chemical attacks.” Gavlak pitched this story to MintPress on August 28th and informed her editors and myself that her colleague Yahya Ababneh was on the ground in Syria. She said Ababneh conducted interviews with rebels, their family members, Ghouta residents and doctors that informed him through various interviews that the Saudis had supplied the rebels with chemical weapons and that rebel fighters handled the weapons improperly setting off the explosions.

When Yahya had returned and shared the information with her, she stated that she confirmed with several colleagues and Jordanian government officials that the Saudis have been supplying rebels with chemical weapons, but as her email states, she says they refused to go on the record.

Gavlak wrote the article in it’s entirety as well as conducted the research. She filed her article on August 29th and was published on the same day.

Dale is under mounting pressure for writing this article by third parties. She notified MintPress editors and myself on August 30th and 31st via email and phone call, that third parties were placing immense amounts of pressure on her over the article and were threatening to end her career over it. She went on to tell us that she believes this third party was under pressure from the head of the Saudi Intelligence Prince Bandar himself, who is alleged in the article of supplying the rebels with chemical weapons.

On August 30th, Dale asked MintPress to remove her name completely from the byline because she stated that her career and reputation was at risk. She continued to say that these third parties were demanding her to disassociate herself from the article or these parties would end her career. On August 31st, I notified Dale through email that I would add a clarification that she was the writer and researcher for the article and that Yahya was the reporter on the ground, but did let Gavlak know that we would not remove her name as this would violate the ethics of journalism.

We are aware of the tremendous pressure that Dale and some of our other journalists are facing as a result of this story, and we are under the same pressure as a result to discredit the story. We are unwilling to succumb to those pressures for MintPress holds itself to the highest journalistic ethics and reporting standards. Yahya has recently notified me that the Saudi embassy contacted him and threatened to end his careerif he did a follow up story on who carried out the most recent chemical weapons attack and demanded that he stop doing media interviews in regards to the subject.

We hold Dale Gavlak in the highest esteem and sympathize with her for the pressure she is receiving, but removing her name from the story would not be honest journalism and therefore, as stated before, we are not willing to remove her name from the article. We are prepared and may release all emails and communications made between MintPress and Dale Gavlak, and even Yahya to provide further evidence of what was provided to you in this statement.”

“One can readily assume that these people are her employers at the Associated Press. Who have apparently now suspended Gavlak “indefinitely”

Bomb suspect influenced by mysterious radical
Assocated Press

“The CIA added the name of dead Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev, to a U.S. government terrorist database 18 months before the deadly explosions, U.S. officials told The Associated Press on Wednesday, April 24, 2013

…In the years before the Boston Marathon bombings, Tamerlan Tsarnaev fell under the influence of a new friend, a Muslim convert who steered the religiously apathetic young man toward a strict strain of Islam, family members said. “Somehow, he just took his brain,” said [Uncle] Tsarni, who recalled conversations with Tamerlan’s worried father about the friend of Tamerlan’s known only to the family as Misha.

…Under the tutelage of a friend known to the Tsarnaev family only as Misha, Tamerlan gave up boxing and stopped studying music, his family said.

…Efforts over several days by The Associated Press to identify and interview Misha have been unsuccessful.

…Then, in 2008 or 2009, Tamerlan met Misha, a slightly older, heavyset bald man with a long reddish beard. Khozhugov didn’t know where they’d met but believed they attended a Boston-area mosque together. Misha was an Armenian native and a convert to Islam and quickly began influencing his new friend, family members said.

…[Tamerlan’s father] Anzor became so concerned that he called his brother, worried about Misha’s effects.

…”I heard about nobody else but this convert,” Tsarni said. “The seed for changing his views was planted right there in Cambridge.”
(emphasis added)”

So ask yourself if this fits the profile of an undercover agent determined to radicalize a young Muslim man and have him engage in acts of terrorism?

This is the classic M.O. of undercover provocateurs as witnessed time and again in nearly every single so-called “terrorism” plot since the 9/11 attacks.  And many before as well. ***UPDATE*** And because it fits this pattern, it may have been floated by Ruslan Tsarni/Tsarnaev to throw the media off the trail of his longtime CIA connections.  It is possible that Tamerlan Tsarnaev ran out of options, having dropped out of school, and decided to get employment through the US government networks in Chechnya/Dagestan.  Uncle Raslan provides the crucial link to underground CIA/Chechen Islamist militants.

The Boston Bombing case contains inconsistencies, lies and deception by government authorities, cover up by agencies and a mysterious military contractor called “Craft International,” and very premature statements by the Boston Mayor himself alleging that the two brothers acted alone when there is no way he could know such a thing less than 48 hours after the surviving suspect had been captured.  This all points to deliberate deception and untrustworthy officials.

In other words, the entire case stinks to high heavens, and those currently in charge of covering up the truth from the public should be removed immediately and this investigation taken over by a body that isn’t compromised.

Further revelations by Department of Homeland Security “sources” told the Daily Mail UK:

“The FBI has confirmed that Russia alerted the agency in 2011 that Tsarnaev had ties to ‘radical Islam’ groups in his homeland. Homeland Security sources have also revealed the agency received tips in 2012 about his ties to extremists connected to a Boston mosque.

So the FBI is still lying about what and when they were told concerning Tamerlan Tsarnaev.  DHS is also admitting knowledge of “extremists” in that Boston Mosque.  Anyone in particular spring to mind?

UPDATE

Daily Mail UK pegs the arrival of “Misha” in 2007, even earlier than the AP article cited above.

“…He told MailOnline that the man responsible was a cleric aged around 30 called Misha and that he was an Armenian who, unusually for such a largely Christian people, had converted to Islam.

As far as he knew Misha was based in a mosque that was a short drive from Cambridge and that he was new to Islam.

…According to Uncle Ruslan, Tamerlan, who was an accomplished boxer, began his radicalization by 2007 – right under his mother’s nose

One instance stuck in Ruslan’s memory which he later discovered from a friend who was there.

It was in 2007 one evening around midnight as Anzor came home from work to find the cleric in his kitchen.” (emphasis added)
