It’s like an episode of Mr. Robot.

Hacker group threatens to leak 9/11 ‘truth’ unless paid in Bitcoin
Hacker group The Dark Overlord has threatened to leak thousands of “secret” documents stolen from insurers and government agencies that they claim reveal the truth about 9/11 – unless they’re paid not to.

The Dark Overlord, a “professional adversarial threat group” known for their hacks of Netflix, plastic surgery clinics, and other sensitive targets, posted a link to a 10GB encrypted archive of documents relating to 9/11 litigation, promising to release the encryption keys if their demands were not met in a post on Pastebin on Monday.

Great they’re so civic-minded.

Fuck the corporate psychopaths.

It Costs $30 to Make a DIY EpiPen, and Here’s the Proof

The recent furor over the drug company Mylan jacking up the price of lifesaving EpiPens has brought out the biohackers. A team of DIY enthusiasts calling themselves Four Thieves Vinegar have published plans that will allow anyone to build a device to self-inject epinephrine on the cheap.

This is yet another symptom of Obama’s assault on SINGLE PAYER HEALTHCARE to end the corporate stranglehold on life-saving medicine. The system continues to exploit sick people.

MAIN-Hacker-and-ISIS

Hackers trace ISIS Twitter accounts back to internet addresses linked to Department of Work and Pensions

The hacking collective showed Mirror Online details of the IP addresses used by a trio of separate digital jihadis to access Twitter accounts, which have been used to spread extremist propaganda.

At first glance, the IP addresses seem to be based in Saudi Arabia, but upon further inspection using specialist tools they appeared to link back to the DWP.

You realize that my reposting these reports puts me in jeopardy as well? The Neo-Nazi Ukraine junta is a despicable, criminal enterprise.

Ukraine- Cyber Mercenaries Attack Antiwar.com

” Weisburd has not merely “dismantled” websites. He has harassed individuals engaged in perfectly legal online dissent, threatened their family members, harassed their employers, and harassed their web hosts. He regularly uses lies, disinformation and threats to accomplish these goals. Weisburd decides what is “threatening.” He considers all effective dissent threatening. Many of Weisburd’s “foes” are innocent Americans exercising their right to free speech…”

keyboard-warrior-jpg_58313_20151011-595

In the first part of this article I detailed how in the UK, a partner of Weisburd’s Glen Jenvey fabricated stories in media about terror plots, falsified and planted evidence, falsified testimony of “terrorist activity” by using online sock puppets, hacking accounts and posting as the account owner, as well as setting up entrapment scams. That’s part of what is going on today.

The Tallinn Manual cyber war rules clearly show all these actions including just labeling normal people as targets is illegal. The “Peacemaker” project and Weisburd’s work are clearly listed as crimes against humanity. Harding’s new project even adds that element of conspiracy to commit crime into the mix.

Does Weisburd know he is committing crimes against his own people? Does he know what he is doing is against international law and is in the category of Crimes Against Humanity?

The US National Security Agency (NSA) has run a summer program with the goal of recruiting the next generation of cyber specialists. The agency is at the center of a controversy over the extent of its surveillance.

Wired covers a new “Decentralized Market” that seeks to replace Silk Road.  The implications for crime are obvious.  What do you think should be the limits of this secret black market technology?  Obviously the governments of the world will be tracking this progress closely.

Western governments are doing everything in their power to centralize control and monitor all activity that exists, anywhere, in any form.  This development is a logical response to that, but it brings with it sinister implications.

I’m not at all sure the developers care about the harm this may bring to the world.  This isn’t a neutral type of technology, but disruptive.  Its legitimate uses are not so easy to see.

TRANSCRIPT AND SOURCES: http://www.corbettreport.com/?p=5806

I am quite leery of the online hackers calling themselves “Anonymous.” As they are wide open and secretive, it stands to reason they are infiltrated by intelligence and have engaged in questionable actions. This is not to say that all members are working on behalf of secret government interests, but some have.

This film explores Anonymous, but — as usual with them — the trailer seems more focused on style than substance. I’ll probably do a more in depth review and investigation once the film hits.

The Anonymous entity has a new so-called project for 2012, but should we trust these people? Are they infiltrated? Are they a front? No one knows, as they are themselves what they tell us to despise: secret.

Anonymous: Project Mayhem 2012 // Call to Action – Code TYLER!

They have a new project for 2012, but this project looks a lot like Wikileaks, which already exists, and is pretty much proven to be bonafide in exposing official crimes. Anonymous seems to be competing and calling for a new wave of leaks to come into something it is building, supposedly for the purpose of protecting the anonymity of the uploaders. False sense of security ploy?

This video by Anonymous, which is completely couched in pop culture references and irrelevant quotes, appears to be creating a new Wikileaks type infrastructure, under their control.

I know if I had sensitive data to upload, I wouldn’t trust “Anonymous” to maintain my secrecy, but would actually be anonymous, from a different computer and network.

If one clicks over to the discussions about this “Tyler” project, there is no useful information and a lot of gibberish and quotations that I suppose are to make the discussion look hip or deep. They have the reverse effect, though, of making it look contrived and a marketing scam. The Anonymous videos appear to be more marketing than substance, promoting brand Anonymous rather than informing anyone about anything important. The whole undertaking seems suspicious at best.

While Anonymous targeted a few bad apples, to gain some level of street-cred, they cannot be said to be a truly independent organization with goals removed from US intelligence. Their targets in the middle east during the long-planned “Arab Spring” aligned exactly with NATO and covert US operations. That is highly troubling, and buyer beware.

P.S.

You can’t make this shit up. Amid all the disjointed quotations on their Tyler project, they nakedly promote Obama as some sort of defender of whistleblowers, linking directly to the Obama campaign website!!!

It hasn’t occurred to them, I supposed, that Obama has been the worst president in history at persecuting whistleblowers, not protecting them!

Says “Anonymous”:

“In other words, we would like to help Mr. Obama to fulfill his promises
and to make them extensible to the whole of society. World. Wide.

Protect Whistleblowers:

“Often the best source of information about waste, fraud, and abuse in

government is an existing government employee committed to public

integrity and willing to speak out. Such acts of courage and patriotism,

which can sometimes save lives and often save taxpayer dollars, should

be encouraged rather than stifled. We need to empower federal employees

as watchdogs of wrongdoing and partners in performance. Barack Obama

will strengthen whistleblower laws to protect federal workers who expose

waste, fraud, and abuse of authority in government. Obama will ensure

that federal agencies expedite the process for reviewing whistleblower

claims and whistleblowers have full access to courts and due process.”
