This is absolutely absurd. It’s not a crime to ask foreign leaders to investigate crimes. That’s free speech, first amendment, and arguably a part of the job of being president. This ridiculous ploy is so transparent and so without ethical grounding it’s shocking.

The Emoluments Clause violations and the murders of multiple children seeking asylum at the border, denying their basic needs to survive: water, food, shelter, THAT is real crime.
