Oliver’s 20-minute anti-Russia tirade
Posted: February 20, 2017 in -Tags: anti-Russia, demonization, John Oliver, peace, propagandist, rapprochement, Trump, war propaganda
John Oliver has become a very dangerous propagandist. He just devoted an entire show to anti-Russian demonization. And yet he never got around to military affairs, the provocations of NATO, undermining governments and directly attacking Russia’s allies. That makes his entire effort pure propaganda, pure distraction, dishonest at the core.
While Trump may be a terrible person, his desire for better relations with Russia is a good thing. The Democrat/Industrial/Entertainment complex will not allow it, putting them on the side of the neocon warmongers. Instead of welcoming peace and a de-escalation of tensions, Oliver actually tries to goad Trump into shooting down Russian planes that come near US ships. He uses mockery and sarcasm rather than explicitly saying it, but John Oliver is in agreement with Bill Fucking O’Reilly, while Trump is backed into a corner over a potential act of war against the world’s largest nuclear-armed power.
If Oliver isn’t completely stupid he must be a bit insane. How do you miss noticing the US and Russia brought to the brink of World War 3 throughout 2016?
Hey John Oliver, how about some other viewpoints on your show? Perhaps Oliver Stone for a start?
Hollywood’s Big Lies of Omission

“We like nonfiction, and we live in fictitious times. We live in the time where we have fictitious election results that elects a fictitious President. We live in a time where we have a man sending us to war for fictitious reasons. Whether it’s the fiction of duct tape or the fictitious orange alerts, we are against this war, Mr. Bush.”
–Michael Moore Oscar acceptance speech, moments before his mic was cut off.
This year may mark a turning point, where the moral bankruptcy was laid bare for all. I’m speaking of the Bernie Sanders flip-flop for Hillary Clinton, the predictable bait-and-switch, which Democrats never seem to imagine in real time. The rest of us have seen it so often that the ruse has become routine Standard Operating Procedure.
A particularly notable case is Sarah Silverman, the filthy-mouthed comedienne, who originally championed Bernie. But she quickly fell into lockstep for Hillary. Silverman had a soul empty enough to go and scold the United States to support a candidate whom she had just been fighting against, and who actually stole the nomination from her own candidate through back-room deals at the DNC and through apparent voting-machine hacking. The thief was rewarded instead of jailed for some reason, which Hollywood has had absolutely zero interest in, as if it didn’t happen. They moved on instantly to lambast us all about Donald Trump 24/7. Orwell couldn’t have written it better.
Hollywood has a highly complex understanding of political philosophy and particularly of this presidential race:
1. Trump Bad
2. Hillary Woman
3. So-called “Lesser Evil”
We should acknowledge, those who are literate, that Hillary Clinton’s repeated threats to escalate World War 3 over Syria leave her as potentially the greater evil, not the lesser at all. The jury is very much out.
“Goldwater Girl” Hillary Rodham Clinton has a lengthy record of supporting every US aggressive war and opposing none. She may have played a part in the killings of over 2 million human beings so far, merely tallying those casualties from the three countries of Iraq, Syria and Libya. One may opt to also add another half-million Iraqi children who died as a result of her husband’s eight years of sanctions.
I noticed Hollywood’s widespread mindless support for Democrats back in 2000, when I kicked that shockingly corrupt party to the curb and joyfully cast a vote for Ralph Nader, an actual American hero whose efforts have saved lives. Die-hard whiners of the Democratic rank-and-file still falsely claim that big bad Ralph gave the election to Dubya Bush, when anyone with the ability to read can see that it was the Supreme Court which stopped the legitimate counting of Florida ballots. Add Bush’s brother Jeb purging nearly two-hundred thousand minority voters from rolls. But the mindless strategy of attacking third parties and attempting to delegitimize democracy itself persists among the ignorant (a majority of Democrats perhaps). This is by design; this is who they are. They do not believe in democracy because the billionaires who fund them do not believe in any democracy they cannot control.
Stein fires back at John Oliver

I already responded:

But there’s more I could say…
According to Reuters, the Pentagon has spent 8.5 trillion dollars since 1996, without ever completing a required annual audit.”
–PBS
What’s that?
$8.5 TRILLION
Unaccounted for in the Pentagon, a perpetual, intractable problem that happens to be: BUSINESS AS USUAL.
The entire student debt of the United States is only $1.3 trillion, for comparison sake.
And corporate America demands you continue business as usual, while Green Party candidate–who can’t even get on a comedy interview segment–wants to reprioritize us away from a brutal murderous empire to something more sustainable and educated.
John Oliver Attacks Third Parties

John Oliver’s exercise in propaganda:
Guilt by association: associate a bunch of insane people with your target to put the idea in people’s heads that they are similar.
He is wrong on issue after issue:
1. Student debt relief. Jill Stein never said as president she would simply order that elaborate straw man you concocted for comedic effect. She would work toward making college free for Americans through normal legal channels. You have tipped your hand as a hit man for Hillary.
2. What she said about vaccines was simple science: she saw no evicence of a claim. That’s how science works, joke man. You investigate evidence. Scientists produce evidence in tests and trials all the time, and then they study it. You are going out of your way to peddle ignorance.
3. The September 11 cover up is glaring and an affront to the entire civilized world. The 28 pages linking Saudi government officials directly to the hijackers have been released. Have you even bothered to read the pages before spouting off in ignornace? What Stein said about the 9/11 Commission is completely true. Two of the Commissioners, Kean and Hamilton, said that it was “set up to fail.” Are you so willingly ignorant, or corrupted, John?
Ps
7 countries where college is free
