it was Khashoggi himself who had been ‘employed by the Saudi intelligence services to try to persuade bin Laden to make peace with the Saudi royal family.’ Khashoggi was ‘the only non-royal Saudi who had the beef on the royals’ intimate dealing with al Qaida in the lead-up to the 9/11 attacks.’
Who really was Jamal Khashoggi?

al-Qaeda militants, many of which also had direct ties to MBS’ father, the incumbent King Salman. These intelligence agencies had concluded that in the 1990s, Salman controlled with an ‘iron fist’ the key financial operations of a range of charities (such as the Saudi High Commission, the Third World Relief Agency and the International Islamic Relief Organisation) which had been found systematically diverting hundreds of millions of dollars to al-Qaida militants. Several 9/11 hijackers had trained in camps funded by this cash.

By some accounts, Prince Turki al-Faisal’s relationship with bin Laden continued up to 9/11. According to the French daily Le Figaro, French intelligence sources claimed that two months before 9/11, bin Laden was flown to the American hospital in Dubai for kidney treatment under Prince Turki’s patronage, where the al-Qaida chief met CIA officials.

an attorney representing families and survivors of the 9/11 attack stated Khashoggi may have been murdered because of what he knew about 9/11.

Saudi murders in Pensacola revive 9/11′s unanswered questions

James Kreindler said Khashoggi, who was killed at the Saudi embassy in Istanbul in 2018, had met with an investigator with the 9/11 plaintiffs in 2017 and “knew a lot about the Saudi government’s involvement” in the terror attacks.

“My belief,” Kreindler added, “is that Khashoggi was killed not because he was a dissident, there are lots of dissidents, but because he was holding this ax over the Saudis’ heads.”

Kreindler is apparently the attorney suing Saudi Arabia for the victim’s families.

Problems:

  1. Comments are turned off. No additional info allowed.
  2. Alleged 9/11 hijackers lived and trained at a Florida military base including the PENSACOLA AIR BASE! USA Today either doesn’t know this or isn’t allowed to make the connection:

Mohamed Atta at Maxwell Air Force Base

overviewAccording to a flurry of stories between Sept 15 and 17 (2001) in the Washington Post, Newsweek, and Knight Ridder newspapers, as many as six of the terrorists, including ringleader Mohammed Atta, received training at U.S. military facilities.

“U.S. military sources have given the FBI information that suggests five of the alleged hijackers of the planes used in Tuesday’s terror attacks received training at secure U.S. military installations in the 1990’s,” Newsweek reported. Newsweek also reported that three of the hijackers received training at the Pensacola Naval Station in Florida.

…The Senator had received no reply to his request. “Speaking for Senator Nelson,” concluded the spokesman, “we still do not know if three of the terrorists trained at one time in Pensacola or not.”

The FBI took a powder: Things you never knew about 9/11

Newsweek, September 14, 2001:

ALLEGED HIJACKERS MAY HAVE TRAINED AT U.S. BASES

Three of the alleged hijackers listed their address on drivers licenses and car registrations as the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Fla.-known as the “Cradle of U.S. Navy Aviation,” according to a high-ranking U.S. Navy source.

Another of the alleged hijackers may have been trained in strategy and tactics at the Air War College in Montgomery, Ala., said another high-ranking Pentagon official. The fifth man may have received language instruction at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Tex. Both were former Saudi Air Force pilots who had come to the United States, according to the Pentagon source.

THE WASHINGTON POST thinks it can buy credibility at the Super Bowl. Fake News is indeed a problem, and the Post has been at the forefront of that problem. It has ties to the CIA through its owner, Amazon Zillionaire Jeff Bezos (not a part of the Super Bowl ad?). The Post has a history of serial fabrications, like this one:

“From Russian hackers burrowed deep within the US electrical grid, ready to plunge the nation into darkness at the flip of a switch, an hour and a half later the story suddenly became that a single non-grid laptop had a piece of malware on it and that the laptop was not connected to the utility grid in any way.”

‘Fake News’ And How The Washington Post Rewrote Its Story On Russian Hacking Of The Power Grid

So, the Russians aren’t about to wipe us out after all. Quite fast and loose with the “facts” however.

Even MORE egregious was the “PropOrNot” fakery scandal.

Washington Post admits its “fake news” story relied on a fake news source

BINGO:

The Time list includes no journalists or whistleblowers from Israel, Egypt, India or any of the NATO countries. And there are no journalists who exposed state secrets or government misconduct in the United States.

Time magazine honors journalists facing repression—but snubs Julian Assange

Khashoggi, who was not so much a journalist as the representative of a dissident wing of the corrupt and highly privileged Saudi ruling elite. He was a grandson of the personal doctor to King Abdul Aziz al-Saud, founder of the dynasty, and nephew of billionaire arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi, a key figure in the Iran-Contra scandal of the 1980s.

Most of the nominees—as well as others mentioned in the Time cover story, journalists from Bangladesh, Brazil, Sudan and Hong Kong—have in common the fact that they have posed little or no threat to the interests of American imperialism or its allies and client states. With the exception of Khashoggi and Saudi Arabia, the regimes with which they came into conflict were either at odds with the United States or not close allies.

Not harsh enough?

“[Jamal Khashoggi] was formerly a media aide to Prince Turki al Faisal, who is an eminence gris figure in Saudi intelligence, with its systematic relations to American and British counterparts. “

…Ten days before the 9/11 terror attacks on New York City, in which some 3,000 Americans died, Prince Turki retired from his post as head of Saudi intelligence. It was an abrupt departure, well before his tenure was due to expire.

Did Saudis, CIA Fear Khashoggi 9/11 Bombshell?

Jamal Khashoggi may have known too many dark secrets about US and Saudi intel collusion, primarily related to the 9/11 terror incidents. And with his increasing volubility as a critical journalist in a prominent American news outlet, it may have been time to silence him. The Saudis as hitmen, the American CIA as facilitators.
