The FBI abduction of Marzieh Hashemi is another milestone in the US turn to fascism. Marzieh Hashemi is a well-recognized and highly respected journalist and TV anchorwoman for Press TV, which is affiliated with the Islamic Republic of Iran. She was abducted on January 15th as she was boarding a flight to Denver from St. Louis.
Marzieh was whisked to an unknown location in the vicinity of Washington, DC. The Washington DC area was probably chosen, as Northern Virginia is the site of what is referred to as the “CIA court”, in which so-called national security cases are heard, because the government can be assured of government-friendly juries. In such cases, juries side with the government 99.9% of the time.
Marzieh is being held incommunicado, as this is being written, and she has not been heard from publicly. Nor does her family and friends know her exact location of imprisonment. It took nearly a week before the US government even acknowledged Marzieh’s arrest.
All the US government finally said was that Marzieh is being held as a “material witness” to an unspecified crime. Though not charged with any crime, Marzieh is being treated worse than a criminal. Her human, civil and religious rights have been violated. Reportedly all she has been able to eat is crackers, because the government is not respecting her religious dietary requirements.
We are past the point of no return. Trump’s junta must be removed and the damage he’s done to this country reversed, or it is the end of America.
Robert Kennedy Jr. does NOT believe the “lone nut gunman” theory posited by the US government. The government was on a lawless crime spree in the late 1960s. After whacking a president they next killed Martin Luther King Jr., presidential candidate Robert Kennedy, and Malcolm X, among others. This is not taught in history books. US children are not educated but indoctrinated.

This used to be known as war crimes, belligerence, Nuremberg violations, Crimes Against the Peace, a breach of the UN Charter. It’s why the Nazis got a bad reputation. It was the invading and destroying other countries that started World War 2, and that is why war was outlawed after it, at the Nuremberg Tribunals. Those responsible for initiating wars of aggression were HANGED.

The real issue is the failure to prosecute torturers for crimes. Protecting criminal activities is CONSPIRACY and unaccountable torture powers are a clear and present danger to democracy, the rule of law, and our entire republic. That is why the framers put it right into the Constitution:

(a) Offense.— Whoever outside the United States commits or attempts to commit torture shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both, and if death results to any person from conduct prohibited by this subsection, shall be punished by death or imprisoned for any term of years or for life.

McClatchy includes lots of almost humorous language to the effect ‘mistakes were made.’ This ridiculous excuse accompanies every instance of US government conspiracy and malfeasance. For some reason the terms “error” and “mistake” serve to distract the public sufficiently such that “felony” and “war crime” never make it to print. US personnel are only capable of making errors, never willfully committing crimes. It’s through the looking glass imperial dogma.

Note that this is completely separate and a different matter than the NSA electronic wiretapping of the same congress.

CIA head Brennan threatens the Intelligence Committee!
“John Brennan, the director of the CIA, said the claims by members of the Senate intelligence committee were “spurious” and “wholly unsupported by the facts”, and went as far as suggesting the committee itself may have been guilty of wrongdoing.”
That’s fascism on display. The secret bowels of state power are unaccountable and will remain so. Calling them to task, as with the torture felonies, will bring retribution.
