I wrote a novella in 1987 about tiny drones used to assassinate by detonating as they crash into people’s heads. A top A.I. scientist just made a movie about that premise (recently).

AI IS TRYING TO KILL YOU

They managed to make Russia the bad guy, starting off the show establishing the Russian military as the big boogie man, and they even managed to insert bogus Syria “chemical weapons” propaganda into the middle of the video. That has absolutely nothing to do with the topic, and numerous OPCW whistleblowers have discredited the very image they used in their show. NY Times not only ignored completely the scandal, they knowingly shoved in a bogus chemical weapons attack picture into a program about killer robots–completely irrelevant.

The effect of making Russia the big bad guy is to imply that the US has to respond and keep up, but they never do come right out and say it. That’s why it’s sly.

The ending of the show is a bit more fair and balanced since it’s obvious that the US is a major party to the problem of advancing autonomous killer robots and demanding lawless anarchy in that realm. The US tolerates no legal restraints on its belligerence, at all. The Times couldn’t manage to spin that away.

Read this twice. Understand it.

REPRESENTATIVE TULSI GABBARD: Me and my campaign, we’ve been on the receiving end of very intentional smear efforts trying to undermine our campaign coming through NBC News, quoting articles that are completely baseless. Not just like hey you’ve got a couple of things wrong in it. No. Completely baseless.

I did an interview with George Stephanopolous. He’s like, “This article in The Daily Beast says Putin supports your campaign.”

Based on what? Nothing. Really, nothing. Because I have three donors out of nearly 80,000, who like me. Three Americans–I hate that I have to say that–three American donors. Susan Sarandon, one of them. Professor Stephen Cohen, another, both of whom are outspoken as I am saying: we need to de-escalate tensions between the United States and nuclear-armed countries like Russia and China, because otherwise we are headed down a path that inevitably takes us to nuclear war.
