it was Khashoggi himself who had been ‘employed by the Saudi intelligence services to try to persuade bin Laden to make peace with the Saudi royal family.’ Khashoggi was ‘the only non-royal Saudi who had the beef on the royals’ intimate dealing with al Qaida in the lead-up to the 9/11 attacks.’
Who really was Jamal Khashoggi?

al-Qaeda militants, many of which also had direct ties to MBS’ father, the incumbent King Salman. These intelligence agencies had concluded that in the 1990s, Salman controlled with an ‘iron fist’ the key financial operations of a range of charities (such as the Saudi High Commission, the Third World Relief Agency and the International Islamic Relief Organisation) which had been found systematically diverting hundreds of millions of dollars to al-Qaida militants. Several 9/11 hijackers had trained in camps funded by this cash.

By some accounts, Prince Turki al-Faisal’s relationship with bin Laden continued up to 9/11. According to the French daily Le Figaro, French intelligence sources claimed that two months before 9/11, bin Laden was flown to the American hospital in Dubai for kidney treatment under Prince Turki’s patronage, where the al-Qaida chief met CIA officials.

Britain should prosecute terrorist suspects, not play shady games of geopolitics

In 2000, Mr Bakri Mohammed admitted training British Muslims to fight as jihadists abroad. That same year, he boasted: “The British government knows who we are. MI5 has interrogated us many times. I think now we have something called public immunity.”

Pressure rises on anti-terror chiefs

“Controversy over the UK’s counter-terror efforts spread to border security after claims emerged that one of the perpetrators was let into the country despite being on a security watch list.

Youssef Zaghba is said to have told Italian police “I’m going to be a terrorist” when he was stopped trying to travel to Syria last year.”

“Scotland Yard has confirmed that Butt was known to police and MI5 but said there was “no intelligence to suggest that this attack was being planned” and the probe “had been prioritised accordingly”.”

The powerful neo-Nazi network destroying the European Union from within

Nafeez Ahmed:

The international platform and funding provided by the European Parliament has played a key role in propelling these neo-Nazi parties to power at home. The larger a group in the EU parliament, the greater the millions worth of EU funding it receives, the more of its MEPs are able to join EU policy committees, and the more access the group has to key parliamentary debates.

While we get nothing but bullshit from TV talking heads and US politicians, Nafeez Ahmed sets the record straight:

ISIS, in other words, is state-sponsored

–indeed, sponsored by purportedly western-friendly regimes in the Muslim world who are integral to the anti-ISIS coalition. Turkey, for instance, plays a central role in both the CIA and Pentagon-run rebel training and assistance programmes…

The same official confirmed that Turkey is not just supporting ISIS, but also other jihadist groups, including Ahrar al-Sham and Jabhat al-Nusra, al-Qaeda’s affiliate in Syria. “The distinctions they draw [with other opposition groups] are thin indeed,” said the official. “There is no doubt at all that they militarily cooperate with both.”

“Such linkages between our geopolitical allies and the terrorists we are purportedly fighting in Iraq-Syria came to the fore when it emerged that Syrian passports discovered near the bodies of two of the suspected Paris attackers were fake.

Police sources in France had told Channel 4 News that the passports were likely forged in Turkey.

French officials now concede that one of the suicide bombers, Omar Ismail Mostefai had been on a “watch list” as a “potential security threat” in 2010, and was known to have links with “radical Islam.”

But according to a Turkish official, Turkish intelligence had tipped off French authorities “twice” about Mostefai before the Paris attacks.”

Although the “journalist” is unnamed, this is the standard operating procedure across corporate so-called “newsrooms.”

Nafeez Ahmed:

“I spoke to a major national newspaper here in the U.K. and what was interesting was they were quite sympathetic to the line of inquiry, but just felt like they couldn’t cover it. And it wasn’t that they were told they couldn’t cover it. The journalist that I spoke to who is a senior journalist that I have a lot of respect for was very sympathetic to what I was saying. He literally said to me look – I actually could sense that there was this fear that I shouldn’t be talking about this, this is going to far – is the document really strong enough? He didn’t feel confident.

“There is almost like an unspoken recognition I think in the mainstream media that there are certain things we are not allowed to say. The idea that something as despicable as ISIS could actually been foreseen or facilitated deliberately, which is really what is implied by this report quite clearly.

“It’s almost too much,” he said. “It goes against the grain of so much we take for granted. So many assumptions about not just American, but Western kind of supremacy and the benevolence of our government that we would never do anything like this … it’s a big kind of leap.

“On the one hand I think that journalists are scared and worried about pushing boundaries to that extent. It does raise a concern that there is an absolute silence on this issue, especially in the English speaking media. It raises real questions about what is behind that silence?”

Nafeez Ahmed:

The circus: How British intelligence primed both sides of the ‘terror war’

Over the last decade or so – the very same period that the British state was grooming the “former jihadists who weren’t” so they could be paraded around the media-security-industrial complex bigging up the non-threat of “non-violent extremism” – the CIA and MI6 were coordinatingSaudi-led funding to al-Qaeda affiliated extremists across the Middle East and Central Asia to counter Iranian Shiite influence.

…Nevertheless in 2013, it was David Cameron who lifted the arms embargo to support Syria’s rebels [and Barack Obama in the USA]. We now know that most of our military aid went to al-Qaeda affiliated Islamists, many with links to extremists at home. The British government itselfacknowledged that a “substantial number” of Britons were fighting in Syria, who “will seek to carry out attacks against Western interests… or in Western states”.

…Yet according to former British counterterrorism intelligence officer Charles Shoebridge, despite this risk, authorities “turned a blind eye to the travelling of its own jihadists to Syria, notwithstanding ample video etc. evidence of their crimes there,” because it “suited the US and UK’s anti-Assad foreign policy”.

…This terror-funnel is what enabled people like Emwazi to travel to Syria and join up with IS – despite being on an MI5 terror watch-list. He had been blocked by the security services from traveling to Kuwait in 2010: why not Syria?
