The Pearl Harbor Deception, by Robert Stinnett

Basically, the US wanted to enter WW2, but the public was against it (86% opposed). The White House and top of the military concocted a way to get the US into the war by provoking Japan. The oil embargo and threats to Japanese interests put the idea out there that the US needed to be attacked in the Pacific, where the US left its fleet sitting at the naval base at Pearl Harbor. The attack was conceived in Washington, not Tokyo. It was conceived as soon as Japan and Germany signed their alliance pact, so that a war on Japan was also a war on Germany.

US intelligence (sic) then watched the Japanese prepare the attack and then move their fleet across the Pacific to Hawaii. They never passed this information on to the base commander at Pearl Harbor. Instead they treasonously let the attack come, and tried to blame the base commander after the fact.

This despicable act of high treason has served as inspiration for treasonous psychopaths such as those in the Project for a New American Century (PNAC), who wanted a “new Pearl Harbor,” which they apparently achieved on 9/11.
