“The government generally failed to take adequate steps to prosecute or punish most officials who committed abuses, resulting in a climate of impunity.

Zenz’s figures shows an increase in Uyghur population from 10.1 million to 11.8 million during the 2010 and 2018, while Chinese government figures demonstrate an even larger increase from 10.1 to 12.7 million. That means the Uyghur population in Xinjiang grew by a staggering 25.04 percent.

US diplomats to give explanations over “protest routes’ in Russia – diplomat

The US embassy is coordinating mass protests inside of Russia now–and blatantly caught doing it in the open. With the river of diarrhea about “Russiagate” allegedly influencing US elections in 2016 (with no credible evidence to substantiate their conspiracy theory) this level of hypocrisy is truly Bidenesque.

The US embassy in Moscow also injected the information about a ‘march on the Kremlin’

“US diplomats will have to give explanations at the Russian Foreign Ministry after the US embassy in Moscow published “the itineraries of protests” in the Russian cities, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told TASS on Saturday.”Yesterday the US embassy in Moscow published ‘the protest routes’ in Russian cities and injected the information about a ‘march on the Kremlin’.What was that: a setup or an instruction?Even the organizers had not announced these plans,” she said.”The US diplomats will have to provide explanations at the Russian Foreign Ministry,” she added.”We can imagine what could have happened if Russia’s embassy in Washington had published a map of protest routes with destinations, for example at the Capitol. This kind of orienteering should have ended up with a global hysteria of American politicians, including Russophobic slogans, the threats of sanctions and the expulsion of Russian diplomats,” the diplomat added. The Russian Foreign Ministry said earlier that the information, posted on the US embassy’s site, about the times and locations for unsanctioned rallies was going beyond concern for US nationals in Russia.Moscow would view the attempts of the US embassy in Moscow to “cover” the unauthorized rallies in Russia as interference in internal affairs, the ministry warned.

SERENA SHIM: THE LIFE AND UNEXPLAINED DEATH OF A SYRIA WAR REPORTER

She had recently reported for the Iranian-backed Press TV about Turkey’s role in smuggling IS fighters into Syria on World Food Programme trucks. In her final live broadcast, she described how agents from the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) had been asking questions about her movements while she was covering the siege of Kobani by IS militants.

The intelligence agency had labeled her a “spy,” she said, and pressed locals to “give them a phone call” if they saw her.
