Hey! We changed our name! That counts!!!

Back in December 2012, Jolani’s group, known then as Jabhat al-Nusra, was designated a terrorist organization by the U.S. State Department. Jolani, a Syrian national, was named a “Specially Designated Global Terrorist” in May 2013. The State Department cited the group’s “violent, sectarian vision” and said Jolani’s “ultimate goal is the overthrow of the Syrian regime and the institution of Islamist sharia law throughout the country,” adding that suicide attacks carried out by his group “killed innocent Syrian civilians.”

Three years later, Jolani sought to publicly distance his group from Al Qaeda and renamed it Jabhat Fateh al-Sham. A merger with other Syrian Islamist rebel factions in January 2017 formed the group known as HTS, as it exists today.

James Jeffrey, who served as a U.S. ambassador under both Republican and Democrat administrations and most recently as special representative for Syria engagement and special envoy to the global coalition to defeat ISIS during the Trump administration, told Smith that Jolani’s organization was “an asset” to America’s strategy in Idlib.

Like his partner in crime, Barack Obama, Joe Biden is an international terrorist. This is how terrorism expands and persists globally. Thanks, America.

Syrian Militant and Former Al Qaeda Leader Seeks Wider Acceptance in First Interview With U.S. Journalist

You think? Bernie?

Sanders has been wishy-washy and useless concerning 9/11. That’s why I was never fully on his bandwagon. It took him until 2017 to say that Saudi Arabia isn’t an ally???

U.S. Relies Heavily on Saudi Money to Support Syrian Rebels

Obama-White-House-Syrian-Extremists-Aug-7-2013Untitled-1 copy.png

This admission is going to disappear from the White House website next week, when the office passes to Donald Trump. Barack Obama admitted to supporting “extremists” in Syria, which are Al Qaeda, Al Nusrah, Al Sham, ISIS/ISIL.

This fits perfectly in line with his actions vis a vis Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey, which were all exposed repeatedly for supporting the terrorists. No sanctions or punitive actions of any sort have been instituted against any of these sponsors of international terrorism. Far from it, the US and its Western allies have sent many billions of dollars of weapons to the perpetrators, not held them accountable. They are partners in crime.

Any imbecile who gets all shmaltzy over Joe Biden, just paste this:

Vice President Joe Biden:

“[Erdogan…the Saudis, the Emiratis, etc.]…poured hundreds of millions of dollars and tens of thousands of tons of weapons into anyone who would fight against Assad, except that the people who were being supplied were al-Nusra, and al Qaeda, and the extremist elements of jihadis coming from other parts of the world.”

What was actually done about it??? No spoilers.

Reuters:

Russia says U.S. Syria statement shows Washington supports terrorism

Ryabkov was referring to a statement made by U.S. State Department spokesman John Kirby who said on Wednesday that Russia had an interest in stopping the violence in Syria because extremists could exploit the vacuum there and launch attacks “against Russian interests, perhaps even Russian cities.

“We cannot interpret this as anything else apart from the current U.S. administration’s de facto support for terrorism,” Ryabkov was quoted as saying.

State Dept Excuses Syria Rebel Group Over Terror Attacks

“First of all, there’s a lot of vetting of the Syrian moderate opposition that has already taken place, and it’s not just by the US,” Toner insisted, adding that one incident here and there would not necessarily make you a terrorist group.”

Well, let’s keep it current…

The claim that the Saudis are innocent for 9/11 is total bull

Saudi lies refuted…

Saudi lobbyists are circulating a 38-page “refutation” of the 28 pages on Capitol Hill. This tissue of lies claims investigators for both the FBI and 9/11 Commission chased down all the leads in the 28-page section of the earlier congressional inquiry into 9/11 and came up empty.

…Implausibly, Thumairy claimed he only knew Bayoumi from photos broadcast on TV, despite FBI records showing a flurry of phone calls between Thumairy and Bayoumi on both Thumairy’s cellphone and landline over a short period in December 1999 — just weeks before the hijackers entered the US

…FBI and CIA documents indicate Thumairy escorted major al Qaeda terrorist Khallad bin Attash through customs at LAX so he could meet with al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar.

Etcetera.

real history, not bullshit spin

The newspaper also reported that the Pentagon had refrained in 2015 from attacking ISIS militants in and around the Syrian town of Palmyra in order to further the US foreign policy goal of regime change in Damascus.

United States’ tactical alliances with Al Qaeda and its associates in Syria

Here is the original NYT piece:

“In Syria, a new awkwardness arises. Any airstrikes against Islamic State militants in and around Palmyra would probably benefit the forces of President Bashar al-Assad. So far, United States-led airstrikes in Syria have largely focused on areas far outside government control, to avoid the perception of aiding a leader whose ouster President Obama has called for.

Arrest the President. Clearly a proxy war, just as I described it in detail. This is more corroboration of my piece:
