Review of Max Blumenthal’s The Management of Savagery (2019): ‘AQ is on our side’

Blumenthal’s message is crystal clear: US-Israel policy from 1979 on has been to create and support Muslim terrorism, even as it claims to be fight terrorism.* It used them in Afghanistan to undermine the Soviet Union, and has used them ever since to secure control of world politics. Create the problem, and provide the solution.

* Since 9/11, that is High Treason. US officials should be tried for Treason for any material aid they gave to Al Qaeda in Libya, Syria, and elsewhere.

16 Shots: behind a shocking film about an unlawful police shooting

PS

In yet another absurdity, Facebook censored the above post, exactly as it is, now disallowing film blogs to post trailers of films. They claim it’s “spam.” I wonder if that applies to all film blogs and their deluge of Avengers drivel, or is it more focused on police murder and documentaries about political issues?

THIS is why Tulsi Gabbard needs to be in the debates: she will tell the truth despite how unpopular or contorted it’s been with propaganda. She wrote the STOP ARMING TERRORISTS ACT, which could NOT get passed in the US Congress.

Send her a dollar or more to ensure that she makes the requirement to be on the debate stage:

He added that the Syrian military believes chemical weapons were used by the jihadist rebels during tonight’s attack.

New report from ADL:

Murder and Extremism
in the United States in 2018

In 2018, domestic extremists killed at least 50 people
in the U.S., a sharp increase from the 37 extremistrelated
murders documented in 2017, though still lower
than the totals for 2015 (70) and 2016 (72). The 50
deaths make 2018 the fourth-deadliest year on record
for domestic extremist-related killings since 1970.
• The extremist-related murders in 2018 were
overwhelmingly linked to right-wing extremists.
Every one of the perpetrators had ties to at least one
right-wing extremist movement, although one had
recently switched to supporting Islamist extremism.
White supremacists were responsible for the great
majority of the killings, which is typically the case.

In all, 7,175 hate incidents were reported in 2017, up from 6,121 in previous year.

Hate crimes in USA surge in 2017 with big jump in anti-Semitic attacks, FBI says

The Injustice Department refuses to prosecute white, right-wing terrorism as “terrorism.” That should be the main issue, the disgrace, the hypocrisy plainly exposed.

Breaking: ISIS terrorists are only present in US-controlled areas in Syria – Russian MoD

BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:00 P.M.) – The Islamic State’s (ISIS) last pockets of resistance are located inside areas controlled by the U.S. forces, the Russian Ministry of Defense Spokesperson Major General Igor Konashenkov said this morning.

“As for the current situation in the Syrian Arab Republic, we recommend the Pentagon chief to examine the map showing the situation in this country. All remaining pockets of resistance of Daesh terrorists in Syria are located only in areas controlled by the United States,” Konashenkov said.

Syria – US Moves To Protect Al-Qaeda And ISIS in Daraa

The United States is concerned by reports of an impending Assad regime operation in southwest Syria within the boundaries of the de-escalation zone negotiated between the United States, Jordan, and the Russian Federation last year and reaffirmed between Presidents Trump and Putin in Da Nang, Vietnam in November. The United States remains committed to maintaining the stability of the southwest de-escalation zone and to the ceasefire underpinning it. We also caution the Syrian regime against any actions that risk broadening the conflict or jeopardize the ceasefire. As a guarantor of this de-escalation area with Russia and Jordan, the United States will take firm and appropriate measures in response to Assad regime violations.

PS.

There’s no such thing as a “de-escalation zone.” It does not exist. This is a fiction created in the Pentagon to give their illegal invasion of the sovereign territory of Syria a veil of legitimacy. It has no legal basis whatsoever.

It’s come to my attention that Max Blumenthal, of Alternet fame, was pro regime-change in Syria before he was against it. Whether he had an honest change of heart is a big question, since he never really explained himself.

Here’s a bit of controversy.

I need to put this out for readers to decide since I promoted his pieces, despite him being connected to foundation-funded propaganda complex Alternet. They are the home of head-bobbing Chomsky drones and worse.

So, how about setting the record straight, Max?

At the time of that controversy, June 2012, this is how I personally handled the crisis in Syria (still far too relevant today):
