Destabilizing Pakistan: Bookending Washington’s China Policy

In addition to organizing the annual NED-BFID “Workshop on Media, Democracy & Human Rights” BFID reports that USAID had provided funding for a “media-center” for the Baluchistan Assembly to “provide better facilities to reporters who cover the proceedings of the Balochistan Assembly.” It can be assumed that BFID meant reporters are “trained” at NED-BFID workshops and at its USAID-funded center.

There is also Voice of Balochistan whose every top-story is US-funded propaganda, including op-eds by US representatives promoting Balochi separatism, foundation-funded Reporters Without Borders, Soros-funded Human Rights Watch, and a direct message from the US State Department.

The West’s Terrorist “Catch And Release” Program

By Tony Cartalucci

Virtually every suspect involved in recent Brussels bombing had been tracked, arrested, in custody – either by European security agencies or the agencies of their allies – but inexplicably released and allowed to carry out both the Brussels attack as well as the Paris attack that preceded it.

TIME Admits ISIS Bringing Arms, Fighters in From NATO Territory

TIME in their recent article titled, “ISIS Fighters Kill 200 Civilians in Syrian Town,” reported that:

The attacks also came after the group [ISIS] suffered a series of setbacks over the past two weeks, including the loss last week of the Syrian border town of Tal Abyad — one of the group’s main points for bringing in foreign fighters and supplies.

Tal Abyad, a Turkish-Syrian border crossing east of Kobani, is now a second, confirmed point of entry into Syria used by ISIS to supply its ongoing campaign within the country.

Reports of confirmed, extensive logistical networks passing through NATO and US-ally territory, into Syria, contradict the current prevailing narrative that ISIS is an “indigenous” terrorist organization, funded and self-sustaining within the territory it currently holds in both Syria and Iraq. The Western media has attempted to claim with little evidence that ISIS’ immense, global operations are somehow underwritten by “ransom payments” and “black market oil” it has seized in eastern Syria.

Tony Cartalucci sorts out grotesque double-standards when the regime being protested is a US client state puppet (Thailand) vs. when the regime is a US targeted enemy (Ukraine).
A Tale of Two Protests: Ukraine & Thailand

Bonus hypocrisy from the US State Dept. itself:

“We urge Ukraine’s leaders to respect their people’s right to freedom of expression and assembly…

We call on the Government of Ukraine to foster a positive environment for civil society…

Violence and intimidation of protesters holds a near and dear place in the United States itself though.  Are memories that short over at the State Department?

Much concern for the Ukrainian protesters — a large chunk of whom are neonazis, apparently, and many others are “color revolution” stooges of western imperial meddling, in other words: On The Payroll.   This is the same old story, and the US media is always complicit in selling Uncle Sam’s self-interested tall tales to the rubes.

FBI never heard of these guys?
They desperately need the public’s help to identify them?

THEY WERE ON TWO DIFFERENT GOVERNMENT WATCH LISTS!

“The upshot of the American inquiries into Mr. Tsarnaev’s background was that even though he was found to have no connections to extremist groups, his name was entered into two different United States government watch lists in late 2011 that were designed to alert the authorities if he traveled overseas.

The picture emerging Wednesday was of a counterterrorism bureaucracy that had at least four contacts with Russian spy services about Mr. Tsarnaev in the year before he took a six-month trip to Russia in 2012, but never found reason to investigate him further after he returned, or at any time before last week’s attacks in Boston that killed 3 people and injured more than 260.”

2 U.S. Agencies Added Boston Bomb Suspect to Watch Lists

Now FBI conducted INTERVIEWS, PLURAL, with Tamerlan AND his family:

“The review included examining criminal databases and conducting interviews with Mr. Tsarnaev and his family.”

Note the evolving information as FBI’s cover up unravels daily.

PS.

Oh this is rich:

“When Mr. Tsarnaev returned in July, the travel alert “was more than a year old and had expired,” Ms. Napolitano said.”

So, the public is to believe that if a guy doesn’t blow some shit up within a year that proves he’s A-OK?  This is the great Homeland Security Industrial Military Complex?  What sort of an IQ would one have to have to accept this crap at face value?

We’re in a perpetual war on terror.  We torture and cover it up.  We invade nations left and right.  We drone bomb whomever we please.  But — we can only really “watch” a suspicious terror suspect for a year and then it “expires.”

The storytellers should be arrested for incompetence, at the least.  Such shit couldn’t even pass on late night TV plots.

PPS.

It’s just bombshell after bombshell (no pun intended):

“A police official source in Makhachkala, Dagestan, told NBC News on Sunday that the Russian internal security service reached out to the FBI last November [2012] with some questions about Tamerlan, and handed over a copy of case file on him.

Tsarnaev had first popped up on the local police radar in Dagestan last summer, the source said. During routine surveillance of an individual known to be involved in the militant Islamic underground movement, the police witnessed Tamerlan meet the latter at a Salafi mosque in Makhachkala, the police official said.

It was one of six times in total that surveillance officials witnessed Tsarnaev meeting this militant at the same mosque, according to the police official.

The militant contact later disappeared, the police official said, but so did Tsarnaev before investigators had a chance to speak with him. The FBI never responded, according to the Dagestani police official.”

Charges likely Sunday for Boston Marathon bombing suspect

Here’s an idea!

Maybe self-appointed ignorant dickwads can stop harassing the people trying to get to the truth of this case now?

You think?

Nah.  Never happen.

“Bring it on.”

syrianislamists

You can’t write this shit.  Neocon ghoul rag Foreign Policy Magazine had the stones to literally cheer for Al Qaeda last August, as long as they’re doing the empire’s dirty work.  This nonsense isn’t even hidden, people.  This is what the establishment considers their foreign policy.

“So the rebels aren’t secular Jeffersonians. As far as America is concerned, it doesn’t much matter.

…Fortunately, while the Islamist surge will not be a picnic for the Syrian people, it has two important silver linings for U.S. interests.

Three cheers for Tony Cartalucci who keeps close watch on these psychpaths, over at Land Destroyer.  And I’m adding their link to the blogroll.

Police Converge Mass Boston

Wall Street Journal reports prior contact by FBI with the older brother suspected of setting off bombs at the 2013 Boston Marathon.

Boston Bombing Suspects Were on FBI Radar for Years
By Tony Cartalucci

Why is the FBI admitting this?  Because the interview was “at the request of the Russian government” and therefore known to outside parties:

“The Federal Bureau of Investigation interviewed suspected marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev in 2011 at the request of the Russian government, but didn’t find evidence of suspicious activity and closed the case, an FBI official said Friday.”

If this plot wasn’t thickening up enough yet, now we have notifications by the Russian government to consider and inquire about.  What did the Russians tell US intelligence?  Why were they so interested in Tamerlan Tsarnaev  that they would request FBI assistance?

We know the two bombing suspect’s mother claims that FBI was in repeated contact with both her and had monitored the two sons for five or six years — directly contradicting the Wall Street Journal’s reported FBI statement that they “closed the case” implying that was the end of it:

Zubeidat K. Tsarnaeva, the mother of Boston bombing suspects Dzhokar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev … ”He was controlled by the FBI for five years,” she said.”They knew what my son was doing, they knew what sites on the Internet he was going [to], they used to come…and talk to me…they were telling me that he was a serious leader and they were afraid of him.”

They were talking to my son, and they called me officially and they told me that my son is an excellent boy and they have no problem with him,” she added. “At the same time, they were telling me that…he is getting information on really extremists…sites, so they were very, very afraid of him. So that’s why I think that this is a setup.”

The history of FBI sting operations in terrorism cases snice the 9/11 attacks shows that in every single “foiled plot” there was FBI infiltration and the use of agents provocateurs to “control” the perpetrators and to monitor their activities and prompt them to take violent actions.   That is not an aberration, but what the FBI does, routinely, as revealed at multiple trials.

Is this the case of the plot that was for some reason not “foiled?”
