VIDEOS: 4 US vets, including SEALs, get police escort off plane over Haiti weapons charges

The men reportedly won’t face charges for the alleged wrongdoing, but were debriefed upon returning to U.S. soil, a federal source told the Miami Herald. On Sunday, Port-au-Prince police confronted two vehicles without license plates stopped at a police checkpoint, and later revealed eight men with a slew of weapons and other gear, the Miami Herald had reported. Five of the eight men were identified to be Americans who allegedly told Haitian police that they were conducting “a government mission.” They were accompanied by a Haitian man and two Serbian men.

Venezuela says plane from Miami delivered weapons for use by enemies of Maduro

The chairman and majority owner of 21 Air, Adolfo Moreno, has set up or registered at least 14 other companies in Florida over the past two decades. Among the people brought on to 21 Air when it formed in 2014 was Michael Steinke, its director of quality control.

Both men appear to have either coincidental or direct ties to Gemini Air Cargo, a company that Amnesty International described in a 2006 report as being among more than 30 air charter services believed to have taken part in a CIA program of rendition in which suspected terrorists were abducted abroad and taken to third-country secret “black sites” for interrogation.

Cheap Trump/Rubio Venezuela Aid PR Stunt

The Venezuelan government has an entirely rational reason to suspect the US would use humanitarian aid as a cover to smuggle in weapons to foment armed conflict: The person running quarterback for Trump on the current Venezuela operation, Elliot Abrams, literally did just that 30 years ago.

From the first two paragraphs (emphasis added) of a 1987AP/New York Times article on Elliott Abrams, “Abrams Denies Wrongdoing in Shipping Arms to Contras” (8/17/87—h/t Kevin Gosztola):

Assistant Secretary of State Elliott Abrams has defended his role in authorizing the shipment of weapons on a humanitarian aid flight to Nicaraguan rebels, saying the operation was ”strictly by the book.”

Mr. Abrams spoke at a news conference Saturday in response to statements by Robert Duemling, former head of the State Department’s Nicaraguan humanitarian assistance office, who said he had twice ordered planes to shuttle weapons for the Contras on aid planes at Mr. Abrams’ direction in early 1986.

CNN and others like The Hill are now covering weapons to Al Qaeda, as if this is news. Notably, this is limited to weapons in YEMEN, and ignores SYRIA. In this way, the problem is contained and even restricted to the Trump age.

Seymour Hersh reported in 2014:

A highly classified annex to the report, not made public, described a secret agreement reached in early 2012 between the Obama and Erdoğan administrations. It pertained to the rat line. By the terms of the agreement, funding came from Turkey, as well as Saudi Arabia and Qatar; the CIA, with the support of MI6, was responsible for getting arms from Gaddafi’s arsenals into Syria. A number of front companies were set up in Libya, some under the cover of Australian entities. Retired American soldiers, who didn’t always know who was really employing them, were hired to manage procurement and shipping. The operation was run by David Petraeus, the CIA director who would soon resign when it became known he was having an affair with his biographer. (A spokesperson for Petraeus denied the operation ever took place.)

This is one report of hundreds.

CNN isn’t interested in years of evidence and tons of captured weapons in Syria.

Let’s recap here. Americans are sending weapons to Venezuelan terrorists. Venezuelans are not sending weapons to American terrorists. This is a violation of the UN Charter.

IDF chief admits Israel supplied Syrian rebels with weapons

Foreign Policy magazine reported in September that Israel supplied weapons and gave money to at least 12 rebel groups holed up in southern Syria. The arrangement reportedly included Israeli officials also giving $75-per-person monthly allowances to rebel fighters, in addition to the funds their leaders received to procure weapons on the black market
